A new production oil well of more than 3780 meters depth was built in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region

A new horizontal production oil-well of more than 3780 meters depth was built in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region by SLC-JH drilling partner. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped with a top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used for this purpose. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week under service agreement with the drilling company.

The DQ50B-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH and the DQ50BQIII-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
