A fund of production oil wells in Tomsk region has been replenished by a new horizontal oil well of more than 3460 meters depth.  A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped with a top drive DQ40B-JH was used for drilling this oil well. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week according to service agreement with a drilling company.

The DQ40B-JH as well as the DQ40BQ-JH can be mounted on mobile and heavy land rigs.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 4000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
