Using a top drive DQ40BQ-JH a new production oil well of more than 1510 meters depth was drilled in Tomsk region

A new controlled directional production oil well of more than 1510 meters depth was built in Tomsk region. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped with a top drive DQ40BQ-JH was used to build this oil well. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week under service agreement with a drilling company.

The DQ40BQ-JH as well as DQ40b-JH is an optimal choice for using as with mobile drilling rigs and with fixed land drilling rigs. It allows to build oil wells of up to 4000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
