Using a top drive DQ50BQ-JH a new production gas well of more than 3960 meters depth was drilled in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region

A new production controlled directional gas well of more than 3960 meters depth was built in in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region. A drilling rig ZJ-50DBS equipped with a top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used to build this oil well. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week under service agreement with a drilling company.

The DQ50BQ-JH as well as the DQ50B-JH and the dQ50BQIII-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
