A new production oil well of more than 4230 meters depth was built in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region

A new horizontal oil well of more than 4230 meters depth was built in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK equipped with a top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used for this purpose. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week according to service agreement with a drilling company.

The DQ50BQ-JH as well as the DQ50B-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
