A new production oil well of more than 4190 meters depth was built in Khanty- Mansiysk Autonomous region

A new horizontal production oil-well of more than 4190 meters depth was built in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous region for Rosneft company.  A drilling rig Uralmash 5000/320 EK BMCH equipped with a top drive DQ50BQIII-JH was used to build this oil well. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week according to service agreement.

The DQ50BQIII-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH and the DQ50B-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 1089hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 220 rpm and with a working torque of up to 68 kNm.
