A fund of ROSNEFT production oil wells in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous region has been replenished by a new oil well of more than 3330 meters depth

A fund of ROSNEFT production oil wells in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous region has been replenished by a new controlled directional oil well of more than 3330 meters depth.  A drilling rig 4500/270 EK BMCH equipped with a state-of-the art top drive DQ50BIII-JH was used for drilling this oil well. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week under service agreement with а drilling company.

The DQ50BQIII-JH as well as DQ50BQ-JH and the DQ50B-JH is the most popular top drive among drilling companies.  This model is designed for use with up-to-date rotary steerable systems. It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 1080hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 220 rpm and with a working torque of up to 68 kNm.
