Gazprom-neft expands its resource base in the Tomsk region

Gazprom-neft has been increasing its oil production capacity in Tomsk region. Another production oil well has been built at the Shinginskoye oil and gas condensate field. Its depth was more than 3050 meters.

A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped with a top drive DQ50B-JH was used for this purpose. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with BSC Grand drilling company.

The DQ50B-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH and the DQ50BQIII-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
