Using a top drive DQ50BQ-JH a new production oil well of more than 1990 meters depth was drilled in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region

During 12 days a new horizontal oil well of more than 1990 meters depth was built on Severnoye oilfield in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped with a popular top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used by BSK GRAND professionals to build this oil well. To achieve optimal well profile a rotary steerable system was used. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with NG-Burenie company.

The DQ50BQ-JH as well as the DQ50B-JH and the DQ50BQIII-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
