SLC Group Partners Drill Over 3 600 000 Meters Total With SLC-JH Top Drives

In 2021, our Partners have been actively increasing their drilling capacities using the SLC-JH top drives. A significant milestone of 3 000 000 meters of total drilled distance was reached back in the beginning of December, and now the total amount drilled using the SLC-JH top drives over the year 2021 has exceeded 3 600 000 meters. Horizontal wells represent the most active part; their share is over 70% of total drilled distance. The number of wells with depth over 4000 meters has also seen an increase. The DQ50DQIII-JH top drives show the greatest efficiency. The technical parameters and features of this model meet the requirements for the latest and most advanced drilling technologies – the RSS and carbon-based drilling mud. It allows for drilling complex wells with depth of up to 5000 m (using 114 mm drilling pipes) within the shortest timeframe. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous inverter-powered motor putting out up to 1089 hsps, which allows for drilling with adjustable speed ranging from 0 to 220 rpm and torque of up to 69 kNm.
