Rosneft expands its resource base in the Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region

Rosneft has been increasing its oil production capacity in the Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region. Another production oil well has been built on Camennoye oil field. Its depth was more than 3070 meters.

A drilling rig USPK-250 equipped with a top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used by RN-Burenie professionals to build this oil well. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with RN-Burenie company.

The DQ50BQ-JH as well as the DQ50B-JH and the DQ50BQIII-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
