Using a top drive DQ50B-JH a new production oil well of more than 3960 meters depth was drilled in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region

A new horizontal production oil well of more than 3960 meters depth was built on Vygayakhinskoye oil field in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region. A drilling rig 3900/225 EK equipped with a top drive DQ50B-JH was used by NG-Burenie professionals to build this well. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with NG-Burenie company.

The DQ50B-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH and the DQ50BQIII-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
