An important 1 000 000 meters mark of penetration while drilling wells using SLС-JH top drives was overcome by our Partners in May 2021

In May 2021, the 1,000,000 meter mark of total penetration during drilling gas and oil wells using SLC-JH top drive was passed by our Partners. 

The most part of constructed wells were horizontal, their share exceeded 70%. The highest efficiency was shown by the DQ50BQIII-JH top drive. This model is designed for use with up-to-date rotary steerable systems. It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 1080hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 220 rpm and with a working torque of up to 69 kNm.
