SLC Group Partners Close In On 3 000 000 Meters Drilled With SLC-JH Top Drives

Over 11 months of 2021 our partners have drilled over 2 990 000 meters of wells using the SLC-JH top drives, approaching the significant mark of 3 000 000 meters! Horizontal wells take up the majority of total drilled volume, exceeding 70%. The number of wells with depth over 4000 meters has also seen an increase. The DQ50DQIII-JH top drives show the greatest efficiency. The technical parameters and features of this model meet the requirements for the latest and most advanced drilling technologies – the RSS and carbon-based drilling mud. It allows for drilling complex wells with depth of up to 5000 m (using 114 mm drilling pipes) within the shortest timeframe. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous inverter-powered motor putting out up to 1089 hsps, which allows for drilling with adjustable speed ranging from 0 to 220 rpm and torque of up to 69 kN m.
