A new production oil well of more than 4260 meters depth was built at Kuyumbinskoye gaz&oil field in Krasnoyarsk region

A new horizontal production oil-well of more than 4260 meters depth was built by BNGRE drilling company at Kutumbiskoye gas&oil field in Krasnoyarsk region for Slavneft company. A drilling rig USPK-2320 EK equipped with a top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used for this purpose. A top drive field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with BNGRE drilling company.

The DQ50BQ-JH as well as the DQ50B-JH and the DQ50BQIII-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
