Using a top drive DQ40B-JH a new production oil well of more than 3760 meters depth was drilled in Tomsk region

A new controlled directional production oil well of more than 3760 meters depth was built in Vakhskoe oilfield in Tomsk region. A mobile drilling rig ZJ-40T equipped with a top drive DQ40B-JH was used by Tomskburneftegaz professionals to build this oil well. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with Tomskburneftegaz company.

The DQ40B-JH as well as DQ40BQ-JH is an optimal choice for using as with mobile drilling rigs and with fixed land drilling rigs. It allows to build oil wells of up to 4000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 420hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 33 kNm.
