Using SLC-JH state-of-the-art top drive DQ50BQIII-JH a new production oil well of more than 5310m depth was drilled in Nenetsk Autonomous Region

A new production oil well of more than 5310 meters depth was built in oilfield named after Roman Trebs in Nenetsk Autonomous Region. A drilling rig Uralmash 4500/270 EK-BMCH equipped with the newest top drive DQ50BQIII-JH was used by RN-Burenie professionals to build this complex oil well. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week under service agreement with RN-Burenie company.

The DQ50BQIII-JH is specially designed to operate with rotary steerable systems to build fishbone oil wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 1089hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 220 rpm and with a working torque of up to 69 kNm.
