A new production oil well of more than 5200 meters length was built in R.Trebsa oil field in Nenetsk autonomous region

A new horizontal production oil well of more than 5200 meters length was built by RN-Burenie drilling company in R.Trebsa oil field in Nenetsk autonomous region for Rosneft. A drilling rig Uralmash 4500/270 EK BMCH equipped with a top drive DQ50BQIII-JH was used for this purpose. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with RN-Burenie company.

The DQ50BQIII-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH and the DQ50B-JH is the most popular top drive among drilling companies.  This model is designed for use with up-to-date rotary steerable systems. It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 1080hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 220 rpm and with a working torque of up to 69 kNm.
