New Prospects in YaNAO for Gazprom-NoyabrskNeftegaz

During geological surveys on the Vorgensky licensing district in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YaNAO), Gazprom-NoyabrskNeftegaz have discovered two new clusters with initial geological resources rated at 80 mln ton of oil equivalent.

Today the Vorgensky licensing district is the biggest asset of the NoyabrskNeftegaz company. Defining clear oil-bearing regions allows for more efficient exploration drilling and faster developing of new oil fields, which will be an important factor not only for the company, but for the entire Yamal oil industry.

By 2025, the company is planning to have conducted 3D surveys and exploration drilling in order to better understand the region’s resources potential.
