A new production oil well of more than 4330 meters depth was built for GAZPROMNEFT company

A new controlled directional production oil well of more than 4330 meters depth was built in Ety-Purovskoe oil field in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region for ROSNEFT company by Naftagaz-Burenie. A drilling rig BK-225E equipped  with a top drive DQ50B-JH was used for this purpose. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with Naftagaz-Burenie company.

The DQ50Q-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH and the DQ50BQIII-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
