Using a top drive DQ50BQ-JH a new oil well of more than 2290m depth was drilled in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous Region

A new production oil well of more than 2290 meters depth was built in Em-Egovskoe oilfield in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region. A mobile drilling rig ZJ-50DBS equipped with a top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used by Rosneft-Burenie professionals to build this oil well. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with Rosneft-Burenie company.

The DQ50BQ-JH as well as a DQ50B-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
