A new production oil well of more than 2878 meters depth was built in Barsukovskoe oil field in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region

A new controlled directional production oil-well of more than 2870 meters depth was built by RN-Burenie drilling company in Barsukovskoe oil-field in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region for Rosneft company. A mobile drilling rig MBU-125 equipped with a top drive DQ20B-JH was used for this purpose. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with RN-Burenie company.

The DQ20B-JH is an optimal choice for using with light class mobile drilling rigs.  It allows to build oil&gas wells of up to 2000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 335hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 26 kNm.
