Using a top drive DQ40B-JH a new oil well of more than 3080m depth was drilled in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous Region

A new production oil well of more than 3080 meters depth was built in Samotlorskoe oilfield in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region. A mobile drilling rig ZJ-40 equipped with a top drive DQ40B-JH was used by Rosneft-Burenie professionals to build this oil well. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with Rosneft-Burenie company.

DQ40B-JH is an optimal choice for using with mobile drilling rigs. It allows to build fishbone oil wells of up to 4000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 420hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 33 kNm.
