Using a top drive DQ50B-JH a new well of more than 2600m depth was drilled in Tomsk Region

A new injection well of more than 2600 meters depth was built in Pindjinskoe oilfield in Tomsk region. A drilling rig Uralmash 5000/320 BM equipped with a top drive DQ50B-JH was used by Podzemburgaz professionals to build this well. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with Podzemburgaz company.

The DQ50B-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
