A new production oil-well of more than 3500 meters depth was built for ROSNEFT company

A new controlled directional oil well of more than 3500m depth was built in Samotlorskoe oilfield in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region for ROSNEFT company. A mobile drilling rig ZJ-40CZ equipped  with a top drive DQ40B-JH  was used for this purpose. A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with RN-Burenie company.

DQ40B-JH is an optimal top drive model for using as a part of the 200t mobile drilling rigs for sidetracking and oil-wells drilling of up to 4000 meters depth including fishbone oil-wells. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of  420hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 33 kNm.
