Using a top drive DQ50B-JH a new oil well of more than 3290m depth was drilled in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous region

A new production oil well of more than 3290 meters depth was built in Malo-Balykskoe oilfield in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous region. A drilling rig Uralmash 4000/250 EK-BMCH equipped  with a top drive DQ50B-JH was used by Rosneft-Burenie professionals to build this oil well . A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with Rosneft-Burenie company.

The DQ50B-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone oil wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of  500hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
