A top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used for drilling a new horizontal production oil well of more than 2620 meters depth in the Em-Egovskoe oil field in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region

Rosneft-Burenie company has built the next production oil well of more than 2620 meters depth in the Em-Egovskoe oil field in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous region. A drilling rig ZJ-50DBS equipped  with a top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used for this purpose. A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working under service agreement with Rosneft-Burenie company.

The DQ50BQ-JH as well as the DQ50B-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
