A depth of 6000 meters has succumbed to a SLC-JH’s DQ50BQ-JH top drive

SIC "NEDRA", which is part of the state geological holding "ROSGEOLOGY", has continues successful work on drilling the parametric well 130 - Gydanskaya. The well is being constructed in the Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous Region in the Gydan oil and gas feild. The works are financed from the federal budget according to state contract signed in 2015. The design depth of the well is 7150 meters. The construction of the well should help assess the prospects of oil and gas bearing and the parametrization of the section of the Mesozoic sedimentary complexes of the rocks of the Gydan uplift.

At the end of October this year drilling crew of SIC "NEDRA", working on the rig F-400-3L-X with the use of the top drive DQ50BQ-JH, overcame the symbolic mark of drilling depth - 6000 meters. This is the record figure for the DQ50BQ-JH top drive model achieved in Russia. Non-stop operation of the top drive is provided by a team of SLC engineers who provide 24-hour service support 7 days a week.
