A top drive DQ50B-JH was used for drilling a new oil well of more than 3750m depth in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomus region

A new oil well of more than 3750 meters depth was built in Vyngapurovskoe oilfield in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomus region. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK equipped  with a top drive DQ50B-JH was used by KNG-Service professionals to build this oil-well . A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with KNG-Service company.

The DQ50B-JH as well as DQ50BQ-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
