A top drive DQ50B-JH was used for drilling a new horizontal production oil well of more than 3760 meters depth in the Vyngapurovskoe oil field in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region

KNG service company has built the next production oil well of more than 3670 meters depth in the Vyngapurovskoe oil field in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK equipped  with a top drive DQ50B-JH was used for this purpose. A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working under service agreement with KNG service company.

The DQ50B-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
