A new controlled directional oil well was built on Valyntoiskoe oilfield by Naftagaz-Burenie company

A new controlled directional oil well of more than 4580 m depth was built on Valyntoiskoe oilfield by Naftagaz-Burenie company. A drilling rig "BU 4000/250  EKBM" equipped with a top drive system DQ40B was used for this purpose.

The top drive system had the following maximum operating parameters:

• rotation speed 90 rpm/min;
• torque  27 kNm.
