A new conrolled directional oil well was built on Ombinskoe oilfield for ROSNEFT company

A new controlled directional controlled directional oil-well of more than 3370 m depth was built on Ombinskoe oilfield for ROSNEFT company. A drilling rig  "BU 4000/250  EKBM" equipped with a top drive system DQ50B was used for this purpose.

The top drive had the following maximum operating parameters:

• rotation speed 80 rpm/min;
• torque  30 kNm.
