A new controlled directional oil-well of more than 4000m depth was built on Karaiskoe oilfield in Tomsk region for ROSNEFT company

A new controlled directional oil-well of more than 4000m depth was built on Karaiskoe oilfield in Tomsk region for ROSNEFT company. A drilling rig "BU-3000 EUK" equipped  with a top drive system DQ50B  was used for this purpose.

The top drive system had the following maximum operating parameters:

• rotation speed  - up to 120 rpm/min;
• torque  - up to 22 kNm.
