A new controlled directional oil-well of more than 2420m depth was built in Tomsk region for TOMSKNEFT

A new controlled directional oil-well of more than 2420m depth was built in Tomsk region for TOMSKNEFT. A drilling rig "BU-3000 EUK" equipped  with a top drive system DQ40B  was used for this purpose.

The top drive system had the following maximum operating parameters:

• rotation speed  - up to 50 rpm/min;
• torque  - up to 20 kNm.
