The new direcrional oil well for SAMOTLORNEFTEGAZ oil company

The new directional oil well was finished on Samotlorskoe oilfield for SAMOTLORNEFTEGAZ oil company with the using of the top drive system DQ40B, which was set on the drilling rig 'ZT40'. The well depth was more than 2700 m.

Performance of the top drive had the following maximum values:

• rotation speed 80 rpm/min;
• torque 31 kNm.
