New directional oil well for TATNEFT company

New directional oil well was drilled on Zapadno-Leninogorskoe oilfield for TATNEFT company with the using of the top drive system DQ40B, which was set on the drilling rig 'БУ ZJ 30\1700 T'. The well depth was more than 2000 m.

Performance of the top drive had the following maximum values:

• rotation speed 120 rpm/min;
• torque 17 kNm;
• penetration rate 21 m/h.
