Using a top drive DQ40BQ-JH a new oil well of more than 3490m depth was drilled in Tomsk Region

A new controlled directional production oil well of more than 3490 meters depth was built in Traigorodsko-Kondakovskoe oil field in Tomsk region. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped with a top drive DQ40BQ-JH was used by TomskBurNefteGaz professionals to build this gas well. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with TomskBurNefteGaz company.

The DQ40BQ-JH is an optimal choice for using with heavy-class mobile drilling rigs. It allows to build fishbone oil wells of up to 4000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
