A new production oil well of more than 2815 meters depth was built in Puglalymskoe oil field in Tomsk region

A new controlled-directional production oil-well of more than 3030 meters depth was built by BSC Grand drilling company in Puglalymskoe oil-field in Tomsk region for Tomskneft company. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped with a top drive DQ50B-JH was used for this purpose. A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with BSK Grand company.

The DQ50B-JH as well as the DQ50BQ-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 500hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
