The Oktyabrskoye Drilling Works Bureau (ODWB) is a young company with a remarkable growth rate. It started out back in 2014 drilling oil and gas wells with only 2 crews, and now it has 9 drilling crews and a wide fleet of equipment. The company operates chiefly in the Republics of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, and Komi.

The company’s equipment fleet includes 9 semitrailer-mounted mobile drilling rigs: ZJ-20T (160 t), ZJ-30T (180 t), ZJ-40T (200 t), and HDD350 (350 t). Apart from regular drilling, the company is also capable of casing drilling in cooperation with Weatherford.

The ODWB company operates 2 DQ40B-JH top drives from SLC-JH. The SLC Group specialists ensure top drives’ non-stop operation 24/7, providing necessary maintenance, spare parts and even conducting repairs should the need arise. In June 2019 it was the SLC-JH DQ40B-JH top drive that performed casing drilling for the Rosneft oil company.
