A fund of ROSNEFT production oil wells in Samara region has been replenished by a new  controlled directional oil well of more than 2380 meters depth.  A  mobile drilling rig ZJ-30 equipped with a top drive DQ40B-JH was used by RN-BURENIE drilling crew for drilling this oil well.

A top drive aftermarket field service support was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours 7 days a week with drilling crew under service agreement with RN-BURENIE drilling company.

The DQ40B-JH is an optimal choice for using with fixed and heavy-class mobile drilling rigs. It allows to build fishbone oil wells of up to 4000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 420hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 33 kNm.
