The governor of the Kurgan region, Alexei Kokorin, recently visited our drilling equipment manufacturing plant “Kurgan’s Drilling Rigs”.

According to our company’s First Deputy General Director Vladimir Janovich Imstichey, in the beginning of this year the first stage of the plant was launched.

- Thanks to the governor and local government, we are able to quickly reach the necessary decisions. We like to invest in Trans-Ural region, there are no obstacles. All the personnel that we recruit are residents of the Kurgan region. Together with the regional government we have developed a number of programs to train staff from local educational institutions. Nowadays we are preparing high-tech heavy machinery, necessary for drilling horizontal wells for companies such as Rosneft, Gazpromneft, for work in the Far North. We have already got orders for two - two and a half years in advance.

Speaking about the importance of opening new production facilities in the region, Alexei Kokorin stressed:

- Earlier, there was no such enterprise on the territory of the Trans-Ural region. In May, it will be registered. Today, the first stage of the reconstruction of the former production facilities took place. Everything is done at the modern level with the prospect for long-term work. The first stage of the investment project implementation is 1 billion rubles, and the number of jobs to be created is about five hundred. I assigned the task to the Department of Industry, Transport, Communications and Energy, so that this enterprise could get necessary assistance.

This year “Kurgan’s Drilling Rigs” plan to invest about 100 million rubles into the development of production, to reach the designed capacity by 2019. In the future, it plans to open 800 to 1,000 jobs.

Specialists of the Department of Industry, Transport, Communications and Energy proposed the company to conclude a special investment contract. The Kurgan region guarantees the support measures provided by the current legislation - to reduce to zero the property tax rate and transport tax, to reduce the profit tax to 13.5%, to train personnel for the enterprise in local higher and special educational institutions and to optimize energy saving costs.
