Using a top drive DQ50BQ-JH a new production oil well of more than 3640 meters depth was drilled in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region

A new horizontal side-track oil well of more than 3640 meters depth was built in Malobalykskoe oilfield in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous region. A drilling rig Uralmash 4000/250 EKBMCH equipped  with a top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used by ROSNEFT-Burenie professionals to build this oil well . A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with ROSNEFT-Burenie company.

The DQ50BQ-JH as well as the DQ50B-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
