A top drive DQ50B-JH was used for drilling a new controlled directional oil-well of more than 3000m depth in the Vyngapurovskoe oilfield in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region

NAFTAGAZ-Drilling company has built the next production oil-well of more than 3000 meters depth in the Vyngapurovskoe oilfield in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous region. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped  with a top drive DQ50B-JH was used for this purpose. A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working under service agreement with NAFTAGAZ-Drilling company.

DQ50B-JH as well as DQ50BQ-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone oil-wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of  500hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
