A top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used for drilling a new oil well of more than 3670m depth in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region

A new oil well of more than 3670 meters depth was built in Krasnoleninskoe oilfield in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region.

A drilling rig Metallurg BK200E equipped with a top drive DQ50BQ-JH was used by RN-Burenie professionals to build this oil well. A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with RN-Burenie company.

The DQ50BQ-JH as well as DQ50B-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone oil wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of 600hp power. This allows drilling with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 48 kNm.
