A top drive DQ20B-JH was used for drilling a new controlled directional oil well of more than 2860 meters depth in the Komsomolskoe oil field in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomus Region

RN-BURENIE company has built the next production oil well of more than 2860 meters depth in the Komsomolskoe oil field in Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomus Region. A mobile drilling rig MBU-125 equipped  with a top drive DQ20B-JH was used for this purpose. A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working under service agreement with RN-BURENIE company.

The DQ20B-JH is an optimal top drive for using with light mobile drilling rigs. It allows to build fishbone oil wells of more than 2000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of  330hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 26 kNm.
