A top drive DQ40BQ-JH was used for drilling a new oil well of more than 2650m depth in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomus region

A new oil well of more than 2650 meters depth was built in Yuzhno-Priobskoe oilfield in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomus region. A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped  with a top drive DQ40BQ-JH was used by NaftaGas-Drilling professionals to build this oil well . A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with NaftaGas-Drilling company.

DQ40BQ-JH allows to build fishbone oil wells of up to 4000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of  500hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
