A top drive DQ40B-JH was used for drilling a new horizontal oil-well of more than 3640m depth on Samotlorskoe oilfield in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug

A new horizontal oil-well of more than 3640m depth was built on Samotlorskoe oilfield in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous region  for ROSNEFT company. A drilling rig Honghua 4000 ZJ40 equipped  with a top drive DQ40B-JH was used for this purpose.

The top drive system DQ40B-JH allows to drill with:

• rotation speed  - up to 180 rpm/min;
• torque  - up to 33 kNm.
