A top drive DQ40BQ-JH was used for drilling a new controlled directional oil well of more than 3830 meters depth in the Danenbergovskoe oilfield in Tomsk region

TOMSKBURNEFTEGAS company has built the next production oil well of more than 3830 meters depth in the Danenbergovskoe oilfield in Tomsk region.

A drilling rig Uralmash 3000 EUK-1M equipped  with a top drive DQ40BQ-JH was used for this purpose. A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working under service agreement with TOMSKBURNEFTEGAS company.

The DQ40BQ-JH allows to build fishbone oil-wells of up to 4000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of  500hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
