A new fishbone production oil well of more than 4430 meters depth was built for GAZPROM-NEFT company

A new fishbone production oil well of more than 4430m depth was built in Yuzhno-Priobskoye oilfield in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region for GAZPROM-NEFT company.

A drilling rig Uralmash 3000  EUK-1M equipped  with a top drive DQ50B-JH  was used by NAFTAGAZ Drilling conpany to built this complex oil well. A non-stop top drive performance was provided by SLC service engineers working 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a drilling crew under service agreement with NAFTAGAZ  company.

DQ50B-JH as well as DQ50BQ-JH is the most popular top drive model among drilling companies.  It allows to build fishbone oil wells of up to 5000 meters depth (using drilling 144mm tubes) as quickly as possible. The top drive is equipped with an asynchronous frequency controlled electric motor of  500hp power. This allows to drill with a smooth shaft speed changes in the range from 0 to 180 rpm and with a working torque of up to 40 kNm.
