BAIKITSKAIYA GAS&OIL EXPLORATORY EXPEDITION

In June 2013 the SLC Group supplied the Baikitskaya Gas & Oil Exploratory Company with the DQ70BS-JH top drive, then subsequently mounted it onto the 3000-EUK drilling rig, conducted all the necessary adjustments and start-up procedures. While drilling a horizontal well on the  Kuyumbinsk oilfield, the DQ70BS-JH proved its extreme reliability, safety, and economic efficiency. The average rotation speed during drilling was 40-60 rpm, torque – 12-15.5 kN-m, total horizontal bore length – 1193 m.

The SLC Group service crew oversaw mounting, testing and running the top drive, as well as taught the client’s staff how to operate the machinery. The Baikitskaya Gas & Oil Exploratory Company highly praised the service crew’s work and continues operating the DQ70BS-JH with service support provided by the SLC Group.
